What it is

About chinese herbal medicine

Chinese herbal medicine uses combinations of herbs, tailored to your pattern, in forms such as capsules, powders or granules. Formulas are adjusted as your presentation changes.

What to expect

Dr. Kristina reviews your pattern, your medications and supplements, and any pregnancy or fertility-treatment considerations. If herbs are a good fit, Dr. Kristina explains the formula, how to take it and what to watch for.

Herbal formulas, when recommended, are discussed during your visits and priced separately.

FAQ

Chinese herbal medicine questions

Can I take herbs with my prescriptions?

Sometimes — but only after a careful review. Some herbs interact with medications such as blood thinners. Bring a complete list of your medications and supplements.

Are herbs safe during IVF or pregnancy?

Extra caution is needed. Many patients don't take herbs during active fertility treatment or pregnancy. Dr. Kristina will advise based on your situation and your medical team's plan.
